Williamstown (Dromaan) to Church Bay
3.8 km one way – 1 hr 20 min one way
Suitable for intermediate paddlers capable of self-rescue
Begin your journey by leaving the sheltered and picturesque Williamstown Harbour, paddling straight ahead (south) across a small inlet to a narrow, tree-lined point (600m).
Continue southwest past a cluster of lake-shore houses (1.3 km) to the headland at Ashbrook. Be cautious, as this area can be windy—turn back if conditions become challenging.
Pass a slight bay to the next headland or island (3.5 km), then turn right (north) into Church Bay, finishing at the small harbour at its end. A varied route with stunning landscapes and potential challenges for an adventurous paddle!
