Slieve Aughty Centre
From the Slieve Aughty Centre, you can head off for a day long tour or keep it simple with a pony ride around the Enchanted Forest. This ecofriendly equestrian and activity centre has plenty of activities for kids with easy looped walks, a craft room and play area.
An Sibin Equestrian Centre
Based in a 300-year-old restored farmhouse, An Sibin offers training for new riders and, for those with the basics, daily and hourly sessions over tracks, through forests and along quiet country roads. Guides can talk you through the legends behind many of the ancient ruins along the way and you can head back to base for a traditional meal in front of a turf fire. The very adventurous can join an 8-day trek from the shores of Lough Derg through the heart of the Burren National Park to the Cliffs of Moher.
