Tipperary Mountain Trekking Centre is a picturesque equestrian centre located in the stunning, unspoiled, mountain countryside of north County Tipperary, within 20km of Nenagh. It also provides accommodation for riders looking for an overnight stay or a riding holiday. It is open for treks from 10.30 a.m. – 6.30 p.m., Tuesday to Sunday. All bookings are by appointment only. Located deep in Ireland’s horse country, Tipperary Mountain Trekking Centre is surrounded by the beautiful mountain countryside of north Tipperary.
Treks are tailored to suit all levels of ability and go through beautiful unspoiled mountain pastures with amazing views, stunning bio-diversity, and ancient archaeological features including the remains of a Bronze Age settlement. They include a 50:50 lesson and trek, a one hour scenic trek, and a two hour magical history tour. Trail rides for experienced riders take five or eight hours, and include lunch at the local gourmet pub.
