Killaloe River Cruises is located in Killaloe, County Clare. The cruise will take passengers past breath-taking views of County Clare and Tipperary, along the River Shannon and into the calm waters of Lough Derg sheltered by Slieve Bernagh and Arra Mountains. A commentary is provided on all interesting sites as passengers relax and unwind taking in the magnificent scenery, wildlife, heritage, legend and folklore.
Both boats depart from the quay on Lakeside Drive, Killaloe/Ballina. The towns, linked by a narrow 13 arch stone bridge, have been awarded the heritage town status because of their rich and historic past. Killaloe/Ballina offers a wide variety of shops, boutiques and walking trails. Later passengers can stop off at the restaurants and bars each with its own brand of cuisine and fine pints.
