Spleodar is an annual Halloween arts festival for children and young people\, built on theatre\, music\, storytelling and workshops staged in the arts centre and at venues across Nenagh over the Halloween mid-term break. This year’s theme is Halloween Around the World\, or Samhain ar Fud an Domhain\, taking the festival’s usual mix of spooky family entertainment and setting it against how different cultures mark the season\, alongside Ireland’s own Samhain traditions. As of early August\, the festival site still says\, “programme coming soon”\, so the day-by-day schedule of shows and workshops is not yet published\, but the dates and the theme are set.
