Something for all of the family on Lough Derg
Lough Derg Lakelands has a great selection of activities and accommodations to suit a family visiting the region. How do we know? We got the Peskett family from County Kerry in Ireland to spend a week exploring the Lough Derg Lakelands and here’s what they had to say…
“The kids were spoiled for adventure. Starting with the flume slide at the Lakeside hotel. Faith was particularly impressed that they allowed 14 year olds in the Jacuzzi.”
The Family stayed in the lakeside hotel for three nights and enjoyed dinner, bed and breakfast, great Irish hospitality and excellent views of Lough Derg.
“Our hikes into the great outdoors was a wonderful way to see the entire region we were visiting from the top of a mountain and our guide Willeke was very knowledgeable on the local area and history”
The family explored the Lough Derg Way with Willeke from Celtic Connexions Tours in Killaloe.
