He will explore how these concepts can help us better understand ourselves\, our relationships\, and the world around us. The evening will also consider how Jungian psychology relates to modern approaches to mental health and psychiatry. \nWhile Going Deeper builds on themes from Brendan’s first talk\, it can also be enjoyed as a standalone event. \nDrawing on many years of experience as a doctor\, psychotherapist\, and Jungian analyst\, Brendan offers a thoughtful and compassionate perspective on mental health\, consciousness\, and personal transformation. DESCRIPTION:‘The Architecture of What Lingers’ is a multidisciplinary exhibition by Christopher Clery that explores the lasting emotional and psychological effects of gender-based violence\, trauma\, desire\, and survival. \n\nAt the heart of the exhibition is a striking wearable sculpture inspired by the intricate ivory carvings of seventeenth-century artist Joachim Henne\, which Clery encountered at Rosenborg Castle in Copenhagen. Created from screen-printed EVA foam\, the piece features intertwined figures and symbols of power and control\, resulting in an artwork that is both visually compelling and thought-provoking. \nAlongside the sculpture\, a series of silkscreen prints examines how experiences of violence can leave lasting traces on memory\, identity\, and the body. Through sculpture and printmaking\, Clery invites viewers to consider how personal and collective experiences continue to shape our understanding of resilience\, survival\, and selfhood. \nPowerful and reflective\, The Architecture of What Lingers creates space for dialogue\, awareness\, and a deeper understanding of the enduring impact of trauma. \nContent Warning: This exhibition contains themes of gender-based violence\, trauma\, and abuse which some visitors may find distressing.
