There’s no better perspective on nature than from the water as you kayak, canoe, paddle board or navigate the lake with a rented boat along planned and safe routes.
Back on dry land, you can try your hand at archery, tackle the climbing wall, and take on the challenge of the obstacle course.

UL Adventure Centre
To get active on the water, get started with the UL Sport Adventure Centre. You can learn to canoe, kayak, paddle board and windsurf with enthusiastic and well-trained instructors. You might even have a go on the giant stand up paddle boards and get your family to race against your rivals. Or have a go at the water orienteering which is a great way to navigate a safe water course on the Lough.

Wall Climbing
For a truly challenging climb, get roped up for the 360 degrees of walled climbing at the University of Limerick. The tallest indoor climbing wall in Ireland, it provides space for corporate, school and kids climbs.

Dive Centre
Fancy a dive with at difference? The Quarry in Portroe is a former quarry which has some quirky items to look at when you are down there. Not too many pints being poured in the underwater pub but a great place for training dives.
