If you’re a novice and would prefer to build up your confidence in the comfort of an indoor pool, Lough Derg Water Sports offers training in nearby Birr Leisure Centre.

With bush-craft, boating and boisterous banter guaranteed, the centre aims to give groups of young people varied experiences on spectacular Lough Derg, with paddling exploration being the core focus.
