Terryglass to Slevoir Bay Loop

8.5 km round trip – 2 hour 50 minutes round trip

Suitable for guided intermediate paddlers.
The crossing of Slevoir Bay at Terryglass must not be undertaken in windy conditions

Depart Terryglass and head north to the start of the bay (0.7 km). Cross the 600m stretch of open water to the far side of the bay, then turn right (east) and follow the bank in a scenic horseshoe loop back to Terryglass.

Be aware that access to land is limited along much of the northern side of the bay. A peaceful and picturesque paddle awaits!

Difficulty: An enclosed bay which is suitable for guided intermediate paddlers and for independent intermediate paddlers capable of self-rescue. The crossing of Slevoir Bay at Terryglass must not be undertaken in windy conditions.
