Follow the historic path of O’Sullivan Bere on The Hymany Way, a section of the Beara Breifne Way. Starting at Portumna Bridge, this long-distance walk heads north along the western side of the River Shannon, tracing the epic march of 1,000 followers in January 1603. The journey ends at O’Rourke’s Castle in Leitrim, where only 35 remained. A trail steeped in history and natural beauty!
