The town of Cashel in County Tipperary is home to a spectacular group of Medieval buildings set in the Golden Vale including the 12th century round tower, High Cross and Romanesque Chapel, 13th century Gothic Cathedral, 15th century Castle and the restored Hall of the Vicars Choral. The Rock of Cashel is often referred to the Castle of the Kings and boasts a variety of attractions telling the story of the Rock of Cashel down through the ages including an audio-visual show, exhibitions and guided tours.
