Swimming Pools
If you’re going to get wet anyway, why not take a dip in the heated outdoor pool in Ballina. This riverside pool is a real focal point in Ballina and perfect for a swim in any weather. Or if you need a little more roof over your head, check out the 18 metre pool at the Lakeside Hotel and Leisure Centre which has the added advantage of a 40 metre slide, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and plunge pool for that bit of extra fun.
There’s a public swimming pool in Nenagh Leisure Centre with a six lane 25 metre pool for the adults, a smaller pool for kids and a sauna and steam room for the chill factor.
