Harp Day | Lá na Cruite 2026

Join us at Nenagh Arts Centre for a special celebration of Ireland’s national instrument as part of Harp Day | Lá na Cruite 2026, the annual nationwide event coordinated by Harp Ireland.

The day will begin with an inspiring workshop led by renowned harpist, performer and tutor Cathy Potter from Ennis, Co. Clare. Designed for intermediate players with at least two years’ harp-playing experience, this session offers a valuable opportunity to refine technique, broaden repertoire and enjoy making music alongside fellow harp enthusiasts.

Following the workshop, Cathy will present a public recital highlighting the beauty, versatility and rich musical heritage of the Irish harp. Audiences can look forward to an engaging performance that celebrates one of Ireland’s most treasured cultural traditions.

Whether you participate in the workshop or simply attend the recital, this event offers a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in Ireland’s harp heritage and connect with fellow music lovers.

Workshop: 12:00pm – 2:00pm
Recital: 2:30pm – 3:30pm
