Join spectacle artist Selene Murphy for an imaginative hands-on workshop where children will design and build glowing wearable creations inspired by nature, folklore and the mysterious creatures of the Otherworld. Using willow, paper, cardboard and a variety of creative materials, participants will transform everyday objects into extraordinary works of art.

Drawing inspiration from ancient beasts, mythical animals and fantastical organisms, children will explore colour, light and creativity as they bring their imaginative designs to life. Each lantern hat will be illuminated from within, creating a striking glow perfect for festival celebrations.

Combining art, craft and storytelling, this engaging workshop offers a fun and creative Halloween experience. Participants will leave with their own handcrafted illuminated headpiece, ready to wear and enjoy throughout the festival.
