‘Macalla Taoide’ – An Exhibition by Verona Stellet and Carol Kennedy

Macalla Taoide is an exhibition by Verona Stellet and Carol Kennedy. This collaborative exhibition brings together printmaking, sculpture, and photography, inspired by Ireland’s coastline and the ever-changing relationship between people and the sea. Exploring themes of environmental change, pollution, and our emotional connection to coastal landscapes, the artists invite visitors to reflect on the impact of human activity on the marine environment and the fragile beauty of our oceans and shorelines. Drawing on research trips along the Irish coast, Stellet and Kennedy respond to shared observations through their distinct artistic practices, creating a rich dialogue between print, sculpture, and photography that offers varied perspectives on place, memory, and environmental change. Thought-provoking and atmospheric, Macalla Taoide is a compelling exploration of Ireland’s coastal environment and our enduring connection to it.
