Discover the beauty of nature through creativity at this engaging outdoor workshop led by land artist Mayumi Nakabayashi. Set along the riverbank, participants will explore how natural materials can be transformed into temporary artworks that blend harmoniously with the surrounding landscape.
Using responsibly sourced leaves, stones, branches, grasses and other natural elements, attendees will work together to create a series of collaborative land art installations inspired by the environment around them. Along the way, Mayumi will share insights into her artistic practice, the principles of land art and environmentally conscious approaches to working with natural materials.
This relaxed and hands-on workshop invites participants to slow down, connect with nature and discover new perspectives within familiar surroundings. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels, it offers a unique opportunity to express creativity in the great outdoors.
Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear, as the workshop will take place outdoors throughout.
