Sharing More Memories

Killaloe – Ballina holds a rich local history that was wonderfully captured in the 1990s through cassette recordings of some of the twin towns’ residents. Snippets of some of these interviews have been prepared so you can hear chats with local people sharing their fascinating memories of Killaloe and Ballina in times past.

Come along, sit back and let these wonderful voices wash over you while they describe local places, people and happenings. Arlene will introduce each subject with research of her own to give us a background to the interviewee and the recording and we will have a slide show of images to accompany their stories of old.
