Join artist Mike Byrne for an exciting hands-on workshop that introduces the magic of stop motion animation. Using colourful plasticine clay, participants will design and create their own unique characters before learning how to bring them to life, one frame at a time.
Through a step-by-step process, young animators will explore the fundamentals of stop motion filmmaking, capturing movement and constructing their own animated scenes and short films. Once the animation is complete, participants can add sound effects, music and even record their own voice-overs to give their characters extra personality and flair.
Perfect for young creatives with an interest in art, storytelling, film or technology, this fun and engaging workshop encourages imagination, creativity, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
No experience is necessary, just bring your ideas and get ready to watch your creations come to life on screen!
